At Samsara The Yoga Studio, we are committed to creating a positive, inclusive, and respectful community across all our platforms—whether in-person, online, or within WhatsApp groups. This Code of Conduct outlines the standards of behaviour we expect from all participants and is intended to foster learning, connection, support, creativity, and growth.

This Code of Conduct should be read in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Cancellation and Refunds Policy. By participating in our community, you agree to abide by this Code and all related policies.

1. Guidelines for Positive Interaction

We aim to build a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment. We encourage all members of our community to practice respect, kindness, and support in their interactions.

Examples of positive behaviour include:

  • Actively and constructively participating in discussions or activities.
  • Demonstrating empathy, kindness, and patience with others.
  • Respecting differing opinions, viewpoints, and experiences.
  • Providing and accepting constructive feedback gracefully.
  • Collaborating to resolve conflicts rather than escalating them.
  • Taking responsibility for mistakes, apologizing when necessary, and learning from them.
  • Being mindful of others’ needs, availability, and boundaries (including those of the Samsara The Yoga Studio team).
  • Sharing information and resources that benefit the entire community.

2. Unacceptable Behavior

We are committed to maintaining a space free of harmful or inappropriate behaviour. Examples of unacceptable behaviour include (but are not limited to):

2.1 Discrimination or Hate Speech

  • Any discriminatory remarks related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, mental health, socioeconomic background, neuro(a)typicality, physical appearance, race, or religion.
  • This applies to explicit, subtle, or unintentional comments.

2.2 Harassment

  • Patronizing, intimidating, condescending, or passive-aggressive behaviour.
  • Public or private harassment of any kind.

2.3 Invasion of Privacy

  • Sharing private information about others (doxxing) or failing to respect their boundaries.

2.4 Sharing Inappropriate Content

  • Nudity, sexual images, or any material irrelevant to classes or community work.

2.5 Spreading Misinformation

  • Deliberately sharing false information that may harm others.

2.6 Copyright Infringement

  • Sharing materials or links that violate intellectual property laws.

2.7 Illegal Activity

  • Engaging in or promoting illegal activities in any form.

2.8 Disruptive Behavior

  • Any conduct that undermines the professional and respectful environment of the community.

3. Enforcement of the Code of Conduct

By participating in Samsara The Yoga Studio’s community spaces—whether in person or online—you agree to comply with this Code of Conduct.

3.2 Actions in Case of Infringement

We reserve the right to take appropriate action for violations of this Code of Conduct, which may include:

  • Reporting the behaviour to relevant authorities in cases of illegal activity.
