“I had initially joined the studio as a yoga client because I needed some physical exercise without having any intention of doing the course or much of an interest towards yoga even. After just a month of learning with Shama ma’am, I was so intrigued and wanted to learn more about it so I decided to do the course.
As soon as I started, I was genuinely surprised about the things I didn’t know about my own body and the way Shama ma’am explains everything in detail with scientific explanation makes things much easier to grasp. She encouraged me to be the best version of myself and her being my teacher has made a major change in my personality. I was a hyperactive person and my energy was frittered away unnecessarily without my knowledge and now that I understand the concept of Prana or energy anatomy, I am able to conserve it and use it effectively. I started learning the concept of yoga nidra and meditation from this studio. My concentration has been improved drastically and now I am able to meditate and enjoy the process. Through the understanding of the various yogic frame works my practice deepened and my mental well-being improved greatly.
